Atomberg was facing challenges in working with multiple vendors in India and abroad. They were experiencing in managing the same. Also, they were unable to add a level of check at the data being imported to SAP, they have opted for VConnect solution. Similarly, they have also opted various modules available with Vconnect to have a better approach to Approvals and keeping data in check.
To deploy Vconnect solution, they were looking for trusted partner for hosting the application on public cloud so that they can focus on their business and let the partner own the IT Infra responsibility.
Atomberg engaged Sapphire to host the Vconnect application on AWS Public Cloud. The core AWS services supporting Atomberg Vconnect environment include Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) instances, which provide the compute power to run the environment’s applications.
For storing all Vconnect data, Atomberg uses Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) and Amazon Elastic Block Store (Amazon EBS) for storage. The feature of EC2 auto recovery helps for low-cost hardware high availability of the EC2 instances. AMI snapshots of EC2 instances will help for low-cost disaster recovery to another availability zone. Sapphire recommended the customer to go for Linux server and provided the help during deployment of Vconnect application.

After opting Vconnect solution and hosted on AWS, they can now have various validation and checks built to make data more accurate and trustable. They w can process Import Vendors (Abroad Vendors) through VConnect and post data conveniently to SAP for onboarding with Approvals in checks.
